Lissa has released another video short featuring an interview with her — this time on the subject of playing live.
“I started performing live when I was 15 years old,” she says. “There is nothing else like it, when you have a good show. Of course, there are not-so-good shows, too — but those also are important because you can learn from them.
“I’m just happy to be able to sing,” she continues. “Performing live has become as act of purging for me. I feel so much better afterwards — I can’t stop.”
As with the other videos Lissa has released this year, this one was directed by Bill Filipiak and shot by Stephen Shiveley. Some of the interview footage was shot at Turner-Up Studio during one of her trips to Nashville. The remaining interview footage and performance footage was shot in her hometown of Guffey, Colo.
